This week, Servicing Solutions had the distinct pleasure of attending SFVegas as an exhibiting sponsor. This event showcased a significant gathering within the structured finance industry, drawing a record attendance of over 9,000 registrants. This year’s conference, renowned for its comprehensive exploration of structured finance segments, kicked off with a series of introductory sessions on Sunday before a busy next few days in the exhibit hall.
The event officially commenced with opening remarks from the Structured Finance Association’s CEO, Michael Bright, who set the stage for a series of discussions focusing on macroeconomic and geopolitical trends. Noteworthy sessions included fireside chats with Securities and Exchange Commissioner Hester Peirce and former Director of the National Economic Council Gary Cohn, offering attendees unique perspectives on the current financial landscape.
A significant portion of the conference was dedicated to breakout panel sessions, diving deep into the specifics of Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), and Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) markets. In addition to these impactful panels, we personally conducted dozens of meetings throughout the event to explore potential partnerships with industry peers. It was truly an exciting opportunity to strengthen our existing relationships and forge new ones. Electing to sponsor the event and host a booth in the exhibit hall proved to be effective, as we were able to conduct impromptu discussions with passing attendees each day. We certainly caught people’s attention with our popular Wine Tumblers, but were able to maximize each opportunity to chat with a new face thanks to the knowledgeable panel of representatives that we brought along.
